For the cup you will actually drink

A mug is a contract with the morning. This one holds a generous 350 ml — enough for the second pour — and the handle is shaped with a thumb rest, so it stays comfortable on the long cup, not just the first.

It is thrown in small batches and offered in the two glazes the studio works with, Ash and Iron. Choose the one that sits right on your table, and the guide — $8, sent by email after payment — will tell you how to keep it that way.

Kept, not cleaned

The glaze is the part of the mug that ages with the table. The studio does not print a flat washing chart — the guide ($8, PDF, sent by email after payment) walks Ash and Iron through use, washing and care, piece by piece. Read it with the first cup, and the mug will keep its surface for the life of the table.
