The current batch
Three pieces make up this season. Each is thrown in a small run, glazed in Ash or Iron, and listed here with its true availability.

Rings you can read
Every piece starts as a centred lump of clay on the wheel. The throwing rings left on the surface are not a flaw — they are the record of the hands that made it.
We keep the batches small enough that a mug can be matched to a second, and a bowl to the table it is meant for.
From the studio
A slow walk through the material — the kiln, the shelves, the yards where the work dries. Each plate is captioned only with what it shows.

Keep the glazes honest (E2E republish mark)
The Ash and Iron glazes are chosen for daily use, but they do ask to be understood. The guide — a short PDF, $8.00 — walks through how to use the pieces, how to wash them, and how to care for them so the surface lasts as long as the table it lives on.

Questions, answered
The things a careful buyer asks, in the order we would ask them.
Ash and Iron are the two finishes every piece is offered in. The glaze & care guide ($8, PDF) explains how each one should be used, washed and cared for.
It holds a generous 350 ml, and the handle is shaped with a thumb rest so it sits comfortably in the hand.
We ship nationwide in 3–5 working days, packed in recycled paper.
Tell us within 14 days and we will replace it free of charge.
We do not print a flat yes or no — the guide covers washing for both Ash and Iron, piece by piece. That is the honest answer, and it is eight dollars.
Yes — the studio holds wheel classes for adults who want to learn. We keep the dates close rather than printed; write to hello@kilnandclay.example and we will send the next one.
